When we arrive at Borçka, a district of Artvin, we transfer to our minibuses and reach Karagöl (Extra), which has a magnificent ecosystem. After our Artvin excursions, we depart for Batumi. After completing our entry procedures at Sarp Border Gate, we pass into the Georgia / Adjara region. We start our tour by seeing the magnificent walls remaining from Gonio - Apsaros Fortress, dating back to the Roman period and last used during the Ottoman period, where the tomb of St. Matthias, one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus, is also located. While continuing towards Batumi city center, on the way we see the Çoruh River, which originates from Bayburt and creates sharp lines up to the Batumi borders, and the old Corokhi Bridge over it. As we advance towards Batumi Old Town, where we can find traces of Baltic architecture, we see Ardagani pond where illuminated water shows are performed on the way, and Juli Shartava Boulevard, which lives up to the phrase "Las Vegas of the East" used for Batumi. Also at this point, after seeing the Palace of Justice, designed in the shape of an upside-down bottle, which is one of the different and striking structures, we reach Old Town and start our Batumi city tour. In this pleasant walk we will take accompanied by our guide, our first visit point will be Orta Mosque, the only mosque in Batumi. Here, after listening to our guide's explanations, we will see Piazza Square, designed inspired by Piazza San Marco located in the Venetian Republic, Italy. After seeing St. Nicholas, which is a Georgian Orthodox church, and Armenian Orthodox churches, the European Square with its newly created face will welcome us. After listening to the magnificent Medea Monument and its story from our guide, we go to Poseidon Square and photograph the Theater Building. After taking our group photo, we move to the Small Botanical Garden next to the old boulevard. After seeing numerous tree and plant species specific to the Black Sea, we give you free time on Batumi Boulevard to stroll and shop. CLIMATE

It is generally a temperate climate type with precipitation in all seasons. Frontal and orographic precipitation is dominant. The presence of high mountains parallel to the coast in the region has created an environment for increased precipitation. Although there are no significant differences among precipitation amounts in the region, the most precipitation is seen in autumn and the least in spring. The region is also the most humid region of our country in terms of humidity. Therefore, the annual and daily temperature differences in the region are not large. At the same time, winters in the region are not very cold, but they are rainy. Precipitation is mostly in the form of rain, and snowfall, frost events can be seen, as well as frequent fog. Summers in the region are also temperate. The average of the hottest month does not exceed 22°C-24°C. The average temperature of the coldest month is always above 0°C. Although cold air masses coming from the northwest occasionally affect the region, this effect disappears as one goes east of the region. The region shows variations in terms of temperature and humidity according to its geographical features. Precipitation occurs as cool and humid air coming over the Black Sea rises along the North Anatolian Mountains. Due to the high altitude in the Eastern Black Sea Section, the most precipitation is seen in this section. The annual precipitation amount is 2000 mm on average (Rize 2300 mm). On the southern part of the North Anatolian Mountains, this value drops to 300 mm. The Central Black Sea Section is the least receiving precipitation section of the region due to the decrease in altitude. Here, the annual precipitation amount is around 700 mm on average. In the Western Black Sea Section, parallel to the lower altitude compared to the Eastern Black Sea Section, precipitation in this section is less than in the Eastern Black Sea Section. The annual precipitation amount is around 1200 mm on average. Throughout the region, the annual precipitation amount can exceed 2000 mm especially in the Eastern Black Sea Section, and can drop to 600 mm in the Central Black Sea Section. A continental climate is seen in our Eastern Anatolia Region. The feature of the continental climate is that winters are cold and snowy, and summers are generally hot and dry. Where the continental climate is seen, winter starts early and the snow cover stays on the ground for an average of 90 days. Summers start as early as winter and are hot, but since humidity is low, this heat is not felt much, and the temperature difference between night and day and the annual temperature difference is very high.
