Our ship will dock early this morning in Ketchikan, located in the east of Alaska. Ketchikan, which was the most frequently used supply port by miners during the Gold Rush in the 1890s, is now a charming tourist town with a population of approximately 8,000. Today, our guests who wish can participate in the optional Saxman Native Village & Totem Park tour organized by their guide. Our ship will weigh anchor at 14:00 in the afternoon.
Our ship will dock at the port of Juneau this morning. Juneau, nicknamed the jewel of Alaska, is also the capital of the state of Alaska. Although the gold mines, which were the main reason for the city's establishment, are now closed, its lush nature and glaciers still make Juneau a center of attraction.
