After breakfast on board, our guests who wish may join the optional "Copenhagen & Malmö Tour – 2 Countries in 1 Day" program organized by our guide. We start our tour by exploring Copenhagen, listed as one of the cities with the highest quality of life in the world. Our first stop will be The Little Mermaid Statue, which has become the symbol of the city and Denmark, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's famous fairy tale. Then, Amalienborg Palace, the official residence of the Danish Royal Family; the magnificent Christiansborg Palace, home to the Danish Parliament; Rosenborg Palace, which draws attention with its fairytale architecture; and the impressive Gefion Fountain, bearing traces of Scandinavian mythology, are among the important stops we will see panoramically. Afterwards, we turn our route to the Øresund Bridge, one of the most impressive works of modern engineering connecting Denmark and Sweden. This giant structure, approximately 8 kilometers long, crosses over the artificial island of Peberholm to connect the two countries, offering the privilege of discovering two different Scandinavian countries in a single journey. Malmö, which we reach by crossing the bridge, is Sweden's third largest city and after being under Danish rule for many years, it joined Swedish territory with the 1658 Treaty of Roskilde. After our tour in this beautiful city, which draws attention with its historical squares, chic streets, colorful architecture and peaceful atmosphere, we return to our ship. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
