Barcelona Dream Tour from Ankara

After the morning breakfast we will have at the hotel, guests who wish can join the optionally organized Girona & Figueras and La Roca Outlet Tour (Dali Museum). (100 Euros) Our tour starts with the city of Girona, founded at the point where the Onyar, Galligants, and Güell rivers meet and the pearl of North Catalonia. The region is quite rich historically with works remaining from dozens of occupations and reigns since the Iberians. Since all structures are built of stone and have been very well preserved to date, they fully reflect the spirit of the old. It is a favorite of tourists with its museums, churches, cobblestone narrow streets, and medieval walls. The lion statue, Cathedral Square, and the Jewish Quarter are among the places to see. After our tour, we set off towards the city of Figueras. Its importance is that the surrealist artist Salvador Dali was born here in 1904. Dali established a museum here to leave something to his birthplace and exhibit his works. This museum today has the largest Dali collection and is called Dali's greatest work of art since Dali designed every part of it. There are more than 4000 works made by Dali using different techniques in the museum. Finally, on our way back, we will visit the La Roca Village outlet, which houses many world brands. After our trip, we set off towards the Gothic Quarter. You will spend time without getting bored in the Gothic Quarter with its medieval structures, romantic squares, Roman Walls, Churches, labyrinthine streets, cafes, and souvenir shops. After our tour, guests who wish can also join the optionally organized Sitges Tour (50 Euros). The town of Sitges is located 35 km southwest of Barcelona. This is a place with the spirit of a typical Mediterranean town, one of the rising resorts of recent years with its perfect location between the mountain and the sea. We will lose ourselves in its historical streets starting from the magical stairs of the San Bartolome-Santa Tecla cathedral. This cathedral, dating from the 17th century, rose on the ruins of old Romanesque and Gothic churches. After admiring this magnificent cathedral with awe, our next journey is the historical streets of Sitges, the Maricel Palace and its museum, which are rare examples of Modernism inside the medieval city center, acting almost as a paradise for collection lovers. The place where we will stop right opposite is the Cau Ferrat Museum, the home of Santiago Rusiñol, one of the leaders of the modernist movement in the Catalonia region. When he started to exhibit his paintings here in Sitges, he also undertook the biggest role in the town becoming so well-known. After seeing the colorful houses and cute bars in the narrow streets where the Sitges Festival, which is the scene of horror and fantasy film categories and thronged by thousands of people every year, is celebrated, we will head towards the beach and spend the rest of our time having fun like the locals here.
