Our tour begins at 05.30 at the airport. We complete our check-in procedures for our flight at the airport with our ID card or driver's license. After passing through security, we depart for Diyarbakir with the Ajet HY Ankara - Diyarbakir flight departing at 07.40. Upon arrival in Diyarbakir, we board our vehicle waiting for us and head to the city center. After a journey of approximately half an hour, we arrive in our beautiful city of Diyarbakir, which resembles an open-air museum. After having our breakfast (Extra) here, we start touring our historical city. First, we visit the Diyarbakir Grand Mosque, which is believed to be one of the oldest mosques in Islamic history and the 5th Harem-i Sharif established in Anatolia. We see the Goat Tower (Keçi Burcu), the oldest of the Diyarbakir walls, which has a 9000-year history and whose construction date and civilization are unknown. Looking towards the Tigris River from here, we see and photograph the 10-Eyed Bridge built over the Tigris River and the Hevsel Gardens. After seeing the Mardin Gate and the New Gate panoramically, we set off for our city of Mardin. We continue our way on foot through the historical streets of Mardin and do our shopping (almond candy, saffron tea, dibek coffee, etc.) at a point where we can buy local products. Continuing our way through the Mardin bazaars, we visit the Grand Mosque, which is one of the most important historical structures of Mardin and houses the beard of Prophet Muhammad. We visit the PTT building, which has hosted many TV series and movies. After seeing the Sehidiye Mosque located right opposite us panoramically, we visit a living museum where arts such as lead pouring, copper processing, filigree, and Reyhani dance are performed and kept alive in a two-story stone mansion built 400 years ago. Afterwards, we pass through the Abbaralar, one of the symbols of Mardin, meet our vehicle waiting for us, and go to the Kasimiye Madrasa. The Kasimiye Madrasa will be the last stop of our trip today. After all our tours, we check into our hotel. We head to Old Mardin with our guests who wish (Extra).

DARA ANCIENT CITY - MIDYAT - MOR GABRIEL MONASTERY - FILIGREE BAZAAR - HASANKEYF - MALABADI BRIDGE - SULUKLU HAN

Our tour, after the breakfast we will have at the hotel, heads to the Dara Ancient City, which stands out with its interesting architectural structure (EXTRA). The techno-city, which is referred to as a dungeon among the people, with its cave houses, tombs, churches, cisterns, and underground structures, will fascinate us and remind us of the Ephesus Ancient City in Selçuk. After our Dara Ancient City tour, we head towards Midyat. Our first stop will be the Mor Gabriel Monastery, built on a high hill 20 km outside of Midyat. This magnificent structure will impress us all very much. After our monastery visit, we arrive in the center of Midyat. We leave you to the Midyat bazaars on foot and arrive at the bazaar, which is the center of silver filigree handicrafts in our country. We give our guests free time for shopping here. After the free time, we set off for Hasankeyf. We listen to our guide's narration in front of the Zeynel Bey Tomb. We also see the Sultan Suleyman Mosque Minaret, Imam Abdullah Dervish Lodge, and Hasankeyf Castle, which were moved from old Hasankeyf, panoramically. Then, we see Batman, our province where the first oil well in Turkey is located, panoramically and go to the Malabadi Bridge. After the photo break we will give here, we set off for Diyarbakir. We drink our fatigue tea at Suluklu Han. Afterwards, we depart for Ankara Airport with our Ajet Airlines flight departing at 20.50. We say goodbye to you with sadness, hoping to meet on our next trip. Goodbye...

CLIMATE

A continental climate is observed in our Eastern Anatolia Region. The characteristic of the continental climate is that winters are cold and snowy, and summers are generally hot and arid. In places where the continental climate is seen, winter starts early and there is an average of 90 days of snow cover on the ground. Summers also start as early as winter and are hot, but since the humidity is low, this heat is not felt much, and the temperature difference between night and day and the annual temperature difference is very high.
