Boutique Mardin Tour with Flight Departing from Antalya 1 Night

DIYARBAKIR - DIYARBAKIR GREAT MOSQUE – MARDIN – SEHIDIYE MOSQUE - ABBARALAR – KASIMIYE MADRASAH – HISTORIC MARDIN BAZAARS - LIVING MUSEUM

Our tour begins as we arrive at the Airport at 05.30 in the morning. We complete our check-in procedures for our flight at the airport using our identity card or driver's license. Passing through security control, we depart for Diyarbakır with the Ajet HY Ankara – Diyarbakır flight departing at 07.40. Upon landing in Diyarbakır, we board the vehicle waiting for us and set off for the city center. After a journey of approximately half an hour, we arrive in Diyarbakır, our beautiful city resembling an open-air museum. Following the spread breakfast (Extra) we will have here, we start exploring our historic city. First, we visit the Diyarbakır Great Mosque inside the city walls, believed to be one of the oldest mosques in Islamic history and the 5th Haram al-Sharif established in Anatolia. We see the Goat Bastion (Keçi Burcu), known as the oldest of the Diyarbakır city walls, which has a history of 9000 years and whose construction date and the civilization that built it remain unknown. Looking towards the Tigris River from here, we see and photograph the Ten-Eyed Bridge built over the Tigris River and the Hevsel Gardens. After seeing the Mardin Gate and New Gate panoramically, we set off for our city of Mardin. We continue our journey on foot through the historic streets of Mardin and do our shopping (almond sugar, saffron tea, Dibek coffee, etc.) at a spot where we can buy local products. Continuing our journey through the Mardin bazaars, we visit the Great Mosque, which is among Mardin's most important historic structures and houses the Sacred Beard of Prophet Muhammad. We visit the PTT building, which has hosted many TV series and movies. After viewing the Şehidiye Mosque located right across from us panoramically, we visit a living museum housed in a two-story stone mansion built 400 years ago, where arts such as lead pouring, copper engraving, silver telkari (filigree), and the Reyhani dance are performed and kept alive. Afterward, passing through the Abbaralar, one of the symbols of Mardin, we meet our waiting vehicle and head to the Kasimiye Madrasah. Kasımiye Madrasah will be the last sightseeing stop of the day. Following all our tours, we check into our hotel. For guests who wish, we head to Old Mardin (Extra).

DARA ANCIENT CITY - MIDYAT - MOR GABRIEL MONASTERY - FILIGREE BAZAAR - HASANKEYF - MALABADI BRIDGE - SULUKLU HAN

Our tour, following the morning breakfast at the hotel, heads towards the Dara Ancient City, which stands out with its interesting architectural structure (EXTRA). We will be fascinated by its cave houses, tombs, churches, city walls, cisterns, and the underground techno-city popularly known as the dungeon, reminiscent of the ancient city of Ephesus in Selçuk. After our tour of the Dara Ancient City, we head towards Midyat. Our first stop will be the Mor Gabriel Monastery, established on a high hill 20 km outside of Midyat. This magnificent structure is bound to heavily impress all of us. Following our monastery visit, we arrive in Midyat center. Leaving ourselves to the Midyat bazaars on foot, we reach the bazaar, which is the center of silver filigree handicrafts in our country. Here, we give our guests free time for shopping. After free time, we depart for Hasankeyf. We listen to our guide's narration in front of the Zeynel Bey Tomb. We also view panoramically the Sultan Suleyman Mosque Minaret, İmam Abdullah Zawiyah, and Hasankeyf Castle, which were moved from old Hasankeyf. Afterward, viewing Batman, our province where the first oil well in Turkey was found, panoramically, we go to Malabadi Bridge. Following the photo break we will give here, we set off for Diyarbakır. We drink our fatigue teas at Sülüklü Han. Afterward, we depart for Ankara Airport with the Ajet Airlines flight departing at 20.50. Hoping to meet on our next trip, we sadly say goodbye to you. A continental climate is observed in our Eastern Anatolia Region. The characteristic of the continental climate is that winters are cold and snowy, while summers are generally hot and dry. In places where the continental climate is observed, winter starts early, and the average duration of snow on the ground is 90 days. Summers also start as early as winter and are hot, but since humidity is low, this heat is not felt excessively; the temperature difference between night and day and the annual temperature difference is very high.
