DIYARBAKIR - SULUKLU HAN - CEMIL PASA MANSION - ZERZEVAN CASTLE - MARDIN - HISTORICAL STREETS - LIVING MUSEUM
Our tour begins with our own arrangements to reach the airport. Our guests must be at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport no later than 03.30. We complete our check-in procedures for our flight at the airport with our ID cards or driver's licenses. After passing through security, we depart for Diyarbakir with the Sunexpress flight departing at 05.45. Upon arrival in Diyarbakir, we board our vehicle waiting for us and first visit the Diyarbakir Grand Mosque, believed to be one of the oldest mosques in Islamic history and the 5th Harem-i Sharif, located within the city walls. Afterwards, we see and photograph the Ten-Eyed Bridge built over the Tigris River and the Hevsel Gardens. Then, we visit the approximately 130-year-old Cemil Pasa Mansion, which has been opened as a City Museum (depending on density, the Cahit Sitki Taranci House may be visited instead of the Cemil Pasa Mansion). After our mansion visit, we drink our fatigue-relieving tea at Suluklu Han. Following our tea break, we see the Mardin Gate panoramically and then depart for Mardin. On our way, we visit Zerzevan Castle, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List. Zerzevan Castle is one of the best-preserved Roman garrisons in the world with its military settlement, underground and above-ground structures. The places we will see here are the South Tower, Church, Arsenal, Water Cisterns, Residences, Necropolis Area, and Mithraeum. After our castle tour, we set off for Mardin, the fairy-tale city where stone comes to life. We carry out our tour in Old Mardin on foot. The places we will see during our walk accompanied by our guide are the Latifiye Mosque, Grand Mosque, Revakli Bazaar, Coppersmiths Bazaar, Shahtana Family House, Sehidiye Mosque, Historical Houses, Abbaras, and the Old Government House. Afterwards, we visit the Living Museum. It is a museum where the cultures of Mesopotamia that are on the verge of disappearing are practiced with live performances. Inside, many activities such as Copper Workshop, Filigree Workshop, Almond Candy Workshop, Reyhani Dance Room, Dengbej Room, Lead Pouring, Erbane Room, and Root Dye Application Room are demonstrated practically. After our museum visit, we meet with our vehicle and depart for our hotel. We depart from our hotel for dinner with our guests who wish to join (Extra).

In the Dara Ancient City, which was one of the most important settlements of Upper Mesopotamia in history, we see the Water Cisterns, Historical Stone Quarry, and Cemetery. After our ancient city tour, we depart for Beyazsu via Nusaybin. Beyazsu is like an oasis in the arid and treeless geography of Mardin with its cool and clear water, local trees, and greenery. After our tea and coffee break by the water (subject to availability), we take a photo break at Kafro village, an old Syriac village famous as the Pizza Village. After our lunch break in Midyat, we depart for the Syriac settlement of Haberli Village (Basibrin). Our tour continues after breakfast at the hotel, where we depart for the Mor Gabriel Monastery (Deyrulumur), which is at least 400 years older than any monastery established on Mount Athos in Greece. We give free time in the bazaars for you to buy souvenirs, jewelry, and Syriac wines made from filigree, which is a silver processing art unique to Midyat. You can take beautiful photos by walking among the historical Midyat Houses. At the end of the free time, we depart for the shopping point where you can find almond candy, walnut sausage, and Dibek coffee. CLIMATE
A continental climate is observed in our Eastern Anatolia Region. The characteristic of the continental climate is that winters are cold and snowy, and summers are generally hot and dry. In places where the continental climate is seen, winter starts early and there is an average of 90 days of snow cover on the ground. Summers also start as early as winter and are hot, but since the humidity is low, this heat is not felt much; the temperature difference between night and day and the annual temperature difference is very high.
