GEYİKLİ - BOZCAADA - GREEK NEIGHBORHOOD - ASSOS

Our tour picks you up from in front of Bursa Almira Hotel at 02.00. We reach the region following the Bursa – Balıkesir route. After an extra breakfast on the way, we arrive at Geyikli Pier to depart for Bozcaada. We give free time for tea and coffee by the beach while waiting for the ferry that will take us to Bozcaada. Then, we board the ferry and reach Bozcaada after a half-hour journey. The incredibly charming Bozcaada fascinates us from the very first step. We see the Genoese Castle (Panoramic) on the island. Afterwards, we give free time for lunch at fish restaurants where you can taste the delicious fish of the Aegean. After lunch, we take a walk with our guests who wish to enjoy the warm breeze of the island. During our walk, we have the chance to see the old Greek Neighborhood (Cumhuriyet Street) where the streets intersect steeply and there are well-kept houses, and the historical places located in the old Turkish Neighborhood (Alaybey Neighborhood) with its winding streets and wooden houses. We visit Çiçek Patisserie, where you can taste and buy the famous Bozcaada Cookies. After free time, we return to Geyikli by ferry after sipping our tea by the seaside, following shopping for the famous tomato jam and wine made by the local women living on the island. We meet our vehicle and depart for Assos. When we arrive in Assos, after a short climb, we go up to the hill we call the Acropolis, where the Temple of Athena, dating back to the 5th century BC, is located. After seeing the temple, you will be fascinated by the magnificent view of the Aegean Sea; if you are lucky, you can see Lesbos, Greece's 3rd largest island after Crete and Euboea, which is very close to Turkey. Afterwards, we depart for our hotel in Edremit.

AYVALIK - DEVIL'S FEAST (ŞEYTAN SOFRASI) - AYAZMA - CUNDA ISLAND - TASTING STOPS - HASAN BOĞULDU - SÜTÜVEN WATERFALL

Our tour; after the breakfast we will have at our hotel, we set off for Şeytan Sofrası, a high hill overlooking the Ayvalık Islands covered with pine forests, to watch the endless olive groves and bays from a bird's eye view. After seeing the footprint inside the iron cage, which symbolizes the Devil's Footprint, we take souvenir photos accompanied by views including Lesbos Island. Then we depart for Ayvalık. We get off our vehicle in Ayvalık city center and walk to historical points in the city center. Our first stop will be the Panagia Phaneromeni Ayazma, one of the most important religious structures of Ayvalık. After drinking our water at the Ayazma, we move to the Macaron Neighborhood, which resembles Balat in Istanbul. The neighborhood carries the traces of the past with its historical houses and narrow streets. Magnificent houses made of garlic stone, with elegant door knockers, windows decorated with fine workmanship, where the bay windows of neighboring houses greet each other, and structures with delicious gardens resembling paradise behind their narrow streets. We taste various delicacies at the businesses located nearby here. You can taste mastic or curd cookies at Kahramanlar Bakery; almond pudding at Macaron Pudding Shop; homemade chocolate at Macaron Cafe. Or you can drink blackberry or mulberry juice according to the season at Camlı Kahve. After free time, we walk through the historical houses and go to Şeytan's Coffeehouse to sip our coffees. Afterwards, we visit the Taksiyarhis Monument Museum after seeing the Aynalı Mosque (Agios Yannis Church) from the outside. After visiting the museum, which is also an old church structure, we go to Paşa Çorbacısı where we will have lunch. It is a tradesman restaurant that stands out not only with its soups but also with its olive oil dishes. After our lunch, we give free time in front of Güler Confectionery and İmren Patisserie to eat curd dessert. After our dessert break, we cross Turkey's first suspension bridge and depart for Cunda (Alibey) Island. Here, you can see the windmills after a walk through the cobblestone streets, passing by the Taksiyarhis Church. You can take a photo of the entire Ayvalık view from here. After our Cunda Island trip, we give free time for tasting on the beach. You can taste mastic ice cream from Dondurmacı Cemal and lokma from Lokmacı Cemal. Afterwards, we board our minibuses to go to Hasanboğuldu Pond located within the Kaz Mountains National Park (Extra). After getting off our minibus, we see the pond called Hasanboğuldu and the Sütüven Waterfall with a short walk (The Dramatic Story of Hasan and Emine). After breathing in the mountain air and having our tea break, we depart for our hotel. Dinner and accommodation are at our hotel.

OLIVE OIL FACTORY - KOZAK PLATEAU - BERGAMA - SOMA - DARKALE VILLAGE

Our tour, after the breakfast we have at our hotel in the morning, we go to the Original Olive Oil Factory to get information about olives and olive oil. After our olive oil factory tour, we depart for the Kozak Plateau, which is wide and covered with pine nut forests. Kozak Plateau, one of the most important pine nut production centers in the world, is one of the most peaceful meeting points with nature in the Aegean Region with its clean air, mountain villages where unique traditions and customs are kept alive, and pine nut trees that look like a lush green sea. We take a break in Demircidere Village, one of the most beautiful villages on the road to Kozak Plateau. After visiting the small Ethnography Museum located in the center of the village, we take a short break at the village coffeehouse. Our guests who wish can buy homemade wine here. Afterwards, we reach Bergama, saturated with natural beauties and oxygen. In the center of Bergama, we see the temple built in the 2nd century AD during the reign of Emperor Hadrian (known as the Red Courtyard among the people) and taste butcher meatballs at Çiçeksever Kebab Salon, followed by Kemalpaşa dessert with cream, walnuts, and tahini on top of piyaz. We drink our fatigue coffees at the Historical Arasta. Afterwards, we depart for Soma via Kınık. We visit Emir Hıdır Bey Mosque (Bazaar Mosque) in Soma. The inside of the mosque is like a living house, a mansion, a manor. There are pool pictures that we cannot see in every mosque and that give people the joy of living, pictures of houses, mansions, bridges, castles, flagged ships, and fruits in greenery. After visiting this historical beauty, we depart for Darkale, which is close to the city center of Soma. Darkale is a village hidden in a deep valley and leaning its back against high, rocky mountains; although its name is not heard much, it is a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered with hope and patience. First, we visit the Kırkoluk Mosque (from the outside) and its fountain in our village. Afterwards, we tour the village with a short walk to see examples of classical Ottoman architecture such as Beypazarı, Safranbolu, Kula houses, narrow streets, and natural beauties. After our village tour, we take a short tea break. Afterwards, we start our journey to Istanbul via Savaştepe - Bursa. We leave you at the points where we picked you up late in the evening, hoping to see you on another Prontotour trip.
