Following breakfast on board, guests who wish may join the optional "Copenhagen & Malmö Tour – 2 Countries in 1 Day" program organized by our guide. We begin our tour by exploring Copenhagen, known as one of the cities with the highest quality of life in the world. Our first stop will be The Little Mermaid statue, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's famous fairy tale, which has become the symbol of the city and Denmark. Next, Amalienborg Palace, the official residence of the Danish Royal Family, the majestic Christiansborg Palace housing the Danish Parliament, Rosenborg Castle with its fairytale architecture, and the impressive Gefion Fountain bearing traces of Norse mythology are among the major stops we will see panoramically. We then turn our route towards the Øresund Bridge, one of the most impressive works of modern engineering connecting Denmark and Sweden. This giant structure, approximately 8 kilometers long, connects the two countries via the artificial island of Peberholm, offering the privilege of exploring two different Scandinavian countries in a single journey. Malmö, which we reach after crossing the bridge, is Sweden's third-largest city and became part of Swedish territory under the Treaty of Roskilde in 1658 after spending long years under Danish rule. After exploring this beautiful city, which draws attention with its historical squares, elegant streets, colorful architecture, and peaceful atmosphere, we return to our ship. Following breakfast on board, guests who wish may join the optional "Lake Hornindal & Dalsnibba National Park" tour organized by our guide. Our tour begins in the town of Hellesylt, home to one of Norway's most breathtaking fjord landscapes (Subject to ship permissions, our tour may also start from Geiranger). Along the way, accompanied by lush green valleys, majestic mountains, cascading waterfalls, and picture-postcard views, we reach Lake Hornindal, which holds the title of Europe's deepest lake. Standing out with its depth of approximately 514 meters, this magnificent lake is one of Norway's hidden treasures with its crystal-clear waters and surrounding natural beauty. Then, passing through lakes formed by glacial waters and charming Norwegian mountain villages, we ascend towards Mount Dalsnibba, one of the most impressive viewpoints overlooking the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Geirangerfjord. Upon reaching the Dalsnibba Viewpoint at an altitude of approximately 1,500 meters, weather conditions permitting, we will have the opportunity to admire a bird's-eye view of Geirangerfjord, the surrounding mountains, glacial lakes, and the unique landscape stretching for miles. After this unforgettable experience, traveling along the Eagle Road (Ørnevegen), considered one of the world's most impressive mountain roads and famous for its hairpin turns, we will have the chance to view Geirangerfjord from different angles and capture impressive photos. During the stops along the way, you can immortalize the glacial lake on the opposite slope of the fjord and Norway's breathtaking natural wonders. At the end of our tour, we return to our ship awaiting us at Geiranger Port. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Today, our entire day is spent sailing at sea. A wonderful day awaits you to discover the ship's rich amenities without the rush of a port call and to enjoy your holiday to the fullest. You can start the day with a delightful breakfast at the buffet restaurants, where gourmet dishes from world cuisines are freshly prepared by special chefs, or at the A La Carte restaurants where your private table awaits. Throughout the day, guests who wish can participate in yoga, fitness, and various sports activities, take advantage of the modern gym equipped with Technogym equipment, or spend time on the tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts located on the open decks. You can relax in the sunbathing areas, enjoy the pool, pamper yourself in the spa and wellness areas, or shop around the onboard boutiques. Competitions, shows, and animation events organized throughout the day will also add fun to your vacation. In the evening, you can enjoy live music in stylish bars and cafes, watch professional Broadway-style theater and musical shows, or try your luck at the ship's casino.
