Leaving Douro Marina in the early morning hours, the cruise begins towards the heart of the Douro Valley. We enjoy a pleasant journey accompanied by vineyards and terraced slopes stretching along the river.

Arrival in Régua, known as the capital of Douro wine, around noon. Guests who wish to do so may participate in the Lamego City Tour after lunch. Lamego, with its Baroque architecture, historical buildings and religious significance, is one of the most striking cities of the Douro Valley. During our city tour, a short and pleasant walk will be taken in the historical city center. With its stone streets, squares and traditional buildings, Lamego offers its visitors a calm and authentic Portuguese town atmosphere (Extra Tour).

After arrival in Pinhao in the evening hours, guests who wish to do so may participate in our Avessada Farm and Dinner Tour. (Extra Tour)

We leave Pinhao in the early morning hours.

13.00 Arrival in Pocinho. Guests who wish to do so may participate in our Castelo Rodrigo Tour organized after lunch. After our tour through the historical streets, which evoke images of medieval movies, we board the ship at Vega Terron (Extra Tour)

Guests who wish to do so may participate in our Salamanca Tour (Extra Tour).

Located approximately 80 km from the Portuguese border, Salamanca is considered one of the most magnificent and most rooted cities of Spain. The buildings in the city are constructed from special sandstone extracted from the nearby Villamayor quarries. Towards sunset, these stones glow in tones of gold, orange and pink, giving the city a fascinating appearance. For this reason, Salamanca is referred to as the “Golden City – La Dorada”. Salamanca was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1988 and received the title of European Capital of Culture in 2002. With its historical university, monumental squares and impressive architecture, it offers its visitors an unforgettable cultural experience.

13.00 Arrival in Pinhao. (Half-hour technical stop) 
After lunch, guests who wish to do so may participate in the Quinta Do Tedo Tasting and Douro Museum Tour (Extra Tour). Leaving the ship in Pinhão, we will visit Quinta do Tedo, a traditional wine production farm. We will receive information about the viticulture tradition of the Douro Valley and the wine production process. Then we visit the Douro Museum, which tells the story of Douro wine culture and the history of the region. Return to the ship in Regua after the tour. 

We leave Regua in the early morning hours. Our ship will be sailing on the river until noon. In the afternoon, we arrive at the Porto River Port, Douro Marina

After breakfast on board, guests who wish to do so may participate in our Porto City Tour. (Extra Tour)

After breakfast on board, we leave our ship and transfer to Porto Airport.
