ISTANBUL – LONDON

We meet at Istanbul New Airport international departures terminal three hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, our flight to London begins with the Turkish Airlines scheduled flight. Upon our arrival in London, we proceed to our private vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Upon our arrival, our panoramic city tour includes Trafalgar Square, Admiral Nelson Monument, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, and the River Thames. After our tour, transfer to our hotel and free time to rest. Overnight at our hotel.

LONDON

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for the optional Greenwich & Thames River Boat & Westminster (150 Euro) tour for our guests who wish to join. The first stop of our tour will be Greenwich Town, where the prime meridian, by which the whole world sets its clocks, is located. Greenwich was also an important royal center during the historic Tudor period. In this area, we will panoramically see the Cutty Sark ship, which is in the best condition among the structures remaining from the Middle Ages. Then, we will take a one-hour boat tour on the River Thames to see London's famous structures. We will get off the boat at Westminster Pier and from Westminster Bridge, we will be able to watch the London Eye, Europe's largest Ferris wheel with a height of 135 meters, and the view of the River Thames. Then we will be able to see BIG BEN and Westminster Abbey. Afterward, we will explore places such as England's famous shopping street Oxford Street, the famous Soho district, Chinatown, and Piccadilly Circus, which is considered the center of the city. After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for King's Cross train station to go to Edinburgh. From the castle, it is possible to see the Edinburgh city center as well as the Firth of Forth and its surroundings from a bird's eye view. Also, the castle houses the Stone of Destiny, which is very important for Scottish history. It is the coronation stone for the Scottish throne. It was returned after being smuggled out of Scotland in the 1950s. It is now kept in the castle. Then we depart for The Royal Yacht Britannia tour. We will explore this magnificent yacht that served as the official residence of the Royal Family for 40 years. We will be able to visit the ship's luxury living areas, the crew's working areas, and the Queen's private rooms. EDINBURGH – ISTANBUL

After breakfast at the hotel, check-out and free time. We depart for the optional Palace of Holyroodhouse Tour (75 Euro) for our guests who wish to join. The Palace of Holyroodhouse is a historic palace in Edinburgh used as the official residence of the Scottish royal family. Carrying important traces from the life of Queen Mary, the palace is one of Edinburgh's most important landmarks with its magnificent interiors and historic gardens. During our visit, we explore the historical atmosphere of the palace. After our tour, we transfer to the airport at the time specified by your guide. After baggage, ticket, and customs procedures, our flight to Istanbul takes place with the Turkish Airlines scheduled flight. With our arrival at Istanbul New Airport, our tour and services end.

GENERAL WARNINGS & NOTES

  • Hotel rooms in the UK are smaller than the standards of hotel rooms in Turkey.
  • Electrical outlets in the UK are different.
  • Optional tours are carried out with a minimum participation of 20 people. In case of participation under 20 people, changes in tour prices may occur. Price differences that may arise if there are not enough participants will be notified by our guide before the tour after the numbers are obtained.
  • Our guide may change the days of the city tour and/or optional tours depending on the number of participants and the status of museums and archaeological sites being closed, while remaining loyal to the content of our tours. This also applies to changes that may occur in flight times.
  • Panoramic city tours do not include museum and archaeological site entrances and are intended to provide general information about the city.
  • In triple rooms (3-person room: dbl bed + extra bed), the 3rd bed is an extra bed or sofa bed and is smaller than standard beds.
  • Triple rooms (3-person) are provided subject to availability. If available, a 3-person room reservation is made. Triple rooms are smaller due to the extra bed.
  • Child discount is valid if staying in the same room with 2 adults.
  • Check-in time at hotels is generally 14:00 (15:00 in some countries), and check-out time is 10:00 (09:00 in some countries).
  • Group reservations are made at hotels for our programs. The content of group breakfasts may differ from the content of individual breakfasts. The content of breakfasts to be taken at hotels in the countries visited is not a Turkish breakfast. Group breakfasts are generally served in a separate hall as a continental breakfast. Continental breakfast basically consists of tea or coffee, marmalade, and croissants, and varies according to the country.
  • Guests who are included in the tour without flights may not be able to use the airport-hotel-airport transfers if they do not use the same flights as the group, and they may also not be able to participate in the city tour. If they use different flights, their transportation to the group's hotel is their own responsibility. This situation must be notified to Prontotour in advance.
  • In most flights departing from Turkey, the luggage weight is 20 kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline and the country to be visited. If there are domestic flights in the country to be visited, the luggage weight on these domestic flights may drop to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight/price rules are determined by the airlines and are not under the responsibility of Prontotour.
  • The name, date of birth, and passport number on the passport must be entered into the system during registration. Flight tickets are issued according to this information. The penalty for flight ticket cancellations or changes resulting from incorrect information will be reflected to the guests.
  • Prontotour is an intermediary institution between our guests and the consulate and does not provide any visa guarantee. The consulate's refusal to grant a visa or rejection is not the responsibility of Prontotour.
  • The visa status in our programs is based on Republic of Turkey passports. Guests with other country passports can check their visa status from the consulates of the countries they are affiliated with.
  • Passports must have a minimum validity of 6 months based on the end date of the trip. Guests traveling with less than 6 months may face the situation of not being admitted to the country by the country's passport police. In such cases, the responsibility belongs to the passport holder.
  • It is recommended to check with your GSM operator whether your phone is open for international use before leaving Turkey to use your mobile phones abroad.
  • Hotels far from the center may be used during special and busy times such as fairs, congresses, and concerts.
  • Some of our programs are offered based on several alternative hotels. The guide and transfer vehicle for our programs with more than one hotel option may be the same.
  • In our tours with the promotion label, the location of our hotels and the content of the service provided may differ from our standard packages. No cancellation or change can be made by the guest in our promotional tours. Please read the sales contract of the tour you purchased carefully.
  • Guests who want to upgrade their flight tickets with their miles can perform upgrade procedures depending on the availability of the airline (check the airline where your membership is located) after the tickets are issued. Check whether the group tickets of the program are in an upgradeable class. No mile guarantee is given for every flight in our programs.
  • The flight times specified in the programs are the times notified by the airlines. In our tours organized with special flights, flight times may change up to 48 hours in advance. Prontotour is in an intermediary position between the airline and the guest. Prontotour cannot be held responsible in any way for delays, cancellations, airport and airline changes, overbooking, service disruptions, etc. caused by the airline.
  • The road distances given in the programs are map-based. Travel times may increase in situations such as traffic, weather conditions, the geographical location of the country visited, road works, and conditions.
