Our tour begins with our check-in procedures at the airport using our national ID cards or driver's licenses. We meet our guests who will arrive at the airport on their own at 05.30 in front of the AJet Airlines Counter, pass through security control, and depart for Gaziantep with the AJet Airlines Ankara Esenboğa - Gaziantep flight departing at 07.50. First, we head to a restaurant for our extra breakfast. Afterward, we visit the Gaziantep Zeugma Mosaic Museum, where we can see the magnificent floor and wall mosaics recovered from the ancient city of Zeugma, which remained underwater. After visiting this magnificent museum, we reach Tahmis Coffee House, one of the symbols of Antep, whose history dates back to Sultan Murad IV. After drinking our coffee here, you can shop for tomato paste, dried peppers, spices, Antep pistachios, and baklava during the free time given at Almacılar Bazaar. Then, we reach the Bald Ibis Conservation Center located in the Birecik district. After our break here, we head to Halfeti, which will fascinate you with its natural beauty, established on the banks of the Euphrates River. With guests who wish, we board our boat for the Halfeti boat tour where you can see Rumkale, Savaşan Village, Historical Cave Houses, and structures under the water (Extra). After this unique experience, we return to Halfeti. After getting off the boat in Halfeti, we take a short break. Then, we head to our hotel in Urfa.

ŞANLIURFA - BALIKLI GÖL – AYN ZELIHA LAKE - GÜMRÜK HAN – GÖBEKLİTEPE - HARRAN

Our tour continues after breakfast at the hotel by visiting the Göbeklitepe Sacred Site, the apple of the eye of world archaeology, where archaeological work is still ongoing and which houses the first known temple in the world. Afterward, we follow the Akçakale border gate road and reach our Harran district, which also means intersecting roads, where the belief in the moon goddess Sin existed in the Mesopotamian culture on the Silk Road. Here, we visit the Harran mound, which exists at a height of 22 meters in the middle of the city of Harran, the Camii el Firdevs (Mosque of Paradise) built by the Umayyad Caliph Marwan, which features a wooden dome, the First Islamic Madrasa (Harran University) established in Anatolia located in its courtyard, the Inner Castle, Historical Walls, and Conical Domed Houses. Then we start our journey towards Şanlıurfa. After free time, we go to our restaurant for lunch. After lunch, we start touring Şanlıurfa. Here, we first visit Balıklıgöl. Immediately after, we visit the Halil-ür Rahman Mosque, the cave believed to be the place of Prophet Abraham, the old Mevlid-i Halil Mosque, the new Mevlid-i Halil Mosque, Ayn-ı Zeliha Lake, and the Halil-ür Rahman Lake, which is accepted as the place where Prophet Abraham fell into the fire. After our tours, we will give free time at Gümrük Han, one of the symbols of Urfa, where many TV series sets have been established. During this time, you can shop for local isot, textiles, and other items. Then, we arrive at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport and return to Ankara with the 20.45 Şanlıurfa - Ankara Esenboğa flight of AJet Airlines. We say goodbye with sadness, hoping to meet again in another Prontotour organization.

CLIMATE

A continental climate is observed in our Southeastern Anatolia Region. The characteristic of the continental climate is that winters are cold and snowy, and summers are generally hot and arid. In places where the continental climate is seen, winter starts early, and the snow stays on the ground for an average of 90 days. Summers also start as early as winter and are hot, but since the humidity is low, this heat is not felt much; the temperature difference between night and day and the annual temperature difference is very high.
