Our tour, after an extra breakfast in the morning, proceeds to Gökçeada to see the goats and sheep roaming freely on the thyme-scented hills of the island, which holds the title of the world's first CittaSlow (Slow City), and to see the centuries-old olive trees. We reach Gökçeada after a journey of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes by the ferry we board from Kabatepe pier. Our first stop will be Zeytinliköy, which welcomes us with its dibek coffee, mastic pudding, and of course, olive trees. During the tour in the village, where the island's oldest church and the house of the spiritual leader of Orthodox Christians, Bartholomew I, are located, we see and get to know the elements of Greek culture. Also, during the free time given, our guests have the opportunity to drink coffee and eat pudding with ice cream. Then, we go to Tepeköy, built near the volcanic Aya Dimitri hill, which awaits us with its plane tree estimated to be over 600 years old. We get to know Barba Yorgo's homemade wines and take a short tour of the village square where the Virgin Mary festival is also held. We go to a picnic area near the village called Çınaraltı (İspilya). We take a photo break against the view around the 625-year-old monumental plane tree and its ancient fountain flowing with spring water. Afterwards, we reach Dereköy, which once held the title of Turkey's largest village with its 2 cinemas, 22 coffeehouses, barber, tailor, laundry, and 1950 households. After visiting the island's largest laundry, we take a small walk inside the village. Then, we take a short break in the center of Gökçeada for you to buy efi almond, olive oil, and eat ice cream made from goat milk. In the evening, we cross to Eceabat by ferry and then to Çanakkale by ferry again. Afterwards, with our guests who wish, during the panoramic tour to be held in the city on the shores of the Dardanelles, which did not give passage to the largest navy of its time; we see the Çimenlik Castle, the Aynalı Bazaar which is the subject of songs, the Clock Tower, the Kordon, and the nightlife of Çanakkale. During this time, we have the opportunity to take photos with the Wooden Horse used in the Troy movie.

BOZCAADA - OLD GREEK NEIGHBORHOOD - ANCIENT CITY OF TROY

Our tour, after breakfast at our hotel, we arrive at Geyikli Pier to move to Bozcaada. We give free time for tea and coffee on the beach while waiting for the ferry that will take us to Bozcaada. Then we board the ferry and reach Bozcaada after a half-hour journey. The incredibly cute Bozcaada enchants us from our very first step. We see the Genoese Castle (Panoramic) on the island. Afterwards, we give free time for lunch at fish restaurants where you can taste the delicious fish of the Aegean. After lunch, we take a walk with the warm breeze of the island with our guests who wish. During our walk, we also have the chance to see the historical places located in the old Greek Neighborhood (Cumhuriyet Street) where the streets intersect steeply and there are well-kept houses, and the old Turkish Neighborhood (Alaybey Neighborhood) where there are winding streets and wooden houses. We visit Çiçek Patisserie, where you can taste and buy the famous Bozcaada cookies. After the free time, we return to Geyikli by boarding the ferry after sipping our tea by the seaside after shopping for the famous tomato jam and wine made by the village women living on the island. Meeting with our vehicle, we move to the store where you can buy Thracian cheeses, olive oil, and jams. After our shopping break, we move to the Ancient City of Troy, which is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. The 9 layers seen in Troy show a time of more than 3000 years without interruption and allow us to watch the civilizations that settled in this unique geography where Anatolia, the Aegean, and the Balkans meet. After our ancient city tour accompanied by our guide, we visit the Troy Museum, which won the European Museum of the Year Award. At the end of our museum tour, we head towards Istanbul and drop you off at the points where we picked you up, hoping to see you again in other Prontotour trips in the evening. Goodbye.
