Konya and Cappadocia Tour with High-Speed Train 2 Nights

Our tour;   We take our places on the train by checking in with our identity cards from the boarding points of the Istanbul - Konya High-Speed Train numbered 81302 at 06:45 Söğütlüçeşme, 06:57 Bostancı, 07:17 Pendik, 07:38 Gebze, 08.11 İzmit (no guarantee is given for right, left, or forward-backward seat arrangement in the train seat layout). We arrive in Konya after a train journey of approximately 5.30 hours. After meeting our vehicle waiting for us at Konya Train Station, we first set off to visit the Tomb of Shams, the close friend of Mevlana. After our visit to the tomb, following a panoramic tour by bus around the Alaeddin Mosque on Alaeddin Hill, which was completed by 1.Alaeddin Keykubad, we carry out visits to Selimiye Mosque, Üçler Tomb (Three Saints Tomb), the 16-segmented Green Dome (Kubbe-i Hadra), Mevlana Museum housing the sarcophagi of Mevlana, his father, and Sultan Veled as well as the tiled sarcophagi of many scholars, and the Mevlevi Lodge. After our visit to the lodge, we depart for our hotel in Cappadocia.

Our tour; after the morning breakfast taken at our hotel, we start exploring the Cappadocia region. Our first stop will be Ihlara Valley, a nature wonder canyon-valley formed by the Melendiz Stream. Here we visit the Ağaçaltı and Yılanlı Churches (In case of road work, the Ihlara Valley tour will be operated from Belisırma Village or Selimiye side). Following a nice walk, we will visit Özkonak Underground City or Derinkuyu Underground City, an engineering marvel where thousands of people fleeing from enemy raids could live for months. You will not be able to hide your admiration while visiting this interesting city built underground by people. Right after the underground city, we head towards the direction of Uçhisar. We take a short break at the shop where you can take photos of Pigeon Valley and Uçhisar Castle and find regional pumpkin seeds and other local natural products. After our shopping break, we go to Avanos, famous for its pottery. In Avanos, we see the Kızılırmak River and get information about pottery made from the mud of the Kızılırmak River. Afterwards, we give a photo break at Paşabağ (Monks Valley) where you will see the finest examples of multi-headed fairy chimneys. After wandering among the fairy chimneys and taking photos in Paşabağ, we return to our hotel. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel. After dinner, with our guests who wish, we go to the Turkish Night specific to the region, which is a must of Cappadocia tours. (Extra)

GÖREME OPEN AIR MUSEUM - HACI BEKTAŞ VELİ COMPLEX

Our tour, after the open buffet morning breakfast taken at our hotel, our first stop; after the morning breakfast (guests can participate in extra activities of BALLOON TOUR, ATV TOUR, Balloon Takeoff Watching Tour before breakfast) we leave the hotel with our luggage. First, we visit the Göreme Open Air Museum within the Göreme Valley, formerly known as Korama. Rock churches (Elmalı, Yılanlı, Çarıklı Churches), dining hall, kitchen, and pantry will be among the places we will see in the museum. After the Göreme Open Air Museum tour, we make the trip to Develi Valley (Dervent Valley), which contains interesting fairy chimney formations and takes its name from the camel-shaped fairy chimney. After a panoramic tour we will make inside Ürgüp, we also see Asmalı Konak from the outside, visit the wine cellars, and find the opportunity to taste the delicious wines of Cappadocia. Afterwards, we see the Three Beauties Fairy Chimneys, which are capped fairy chimneys and the symbol of Cappadocia. At the end of our Cappadocia tours, we depart for our Hacıbektaş district. In the Hacı Bektaş-i Veli Museum; we visit the Tomb of Balım Sultan, Tomb of Güvenç Abdal, Tomb of Hacı Bektaş-i Veli, Kırklar Square, Pir House, Third Courtyard, Pantry House, Square House, Square House Mosque, Soup Kitchen, Second Courtyard (Dervish Lodge Courtyard), and First Courtyard (Nadar Courtyard). After our lodge tour, we set off for Konya and start our return journey to Istanbul with the 18.40 high-speed train. TURKISH NIGHT

In the entertainment held in authentic venues carved into the rock, unique to the Cappadocia region, folk dances belonging to every region of our country are performed and an oriental takes the stage. In the night, which also includes various musical shows, animations, and entertainment, unlimited local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and suitable appetizers are served. It will be held at Karakuş, Uranos Restaurant.

BALLOON TOUR

Our tour, lasting between 60 – 75 mins depending on weather and seasonal conditions, ends with our transfer to your hotel. Around 5 am in the morning, our vehicles pick up you, our esteemed guests, from your hotel and bring you to the launch site. While the balloons are being prepared for flight on the ground, our guests have a light open buffet breakfast. After a short preparation, the balloons begin to fly close to sunrise. The flight takes about 1 hour. During the flight, our balloon rises to an altitude of about 1000 feet, giving our guests the opportunity to watch the sunrise. In addition, it offers the opportunity to watch fairy chimneys and valley views by entering the valleys, take photos and record videos. At the end of the flight, a champagne celebration is held for our guests. In addition, a flight certificate will be given as a flight memory. The whole balloon flight adventure takes about 3 hours, and around 8 in the morning, guests will be dropped off back at their accommodated hotels or tour point.

ATV TOUR

Our tour, lasting between 45 - 60 mins depending on weather and seasonal conditions, ends with our transfer to our hotel. Around 5 am in the morning, our vehicles pick up you, our esteemed guests, from your hotel and bring you to the launch site. Here, after a light breakfast we will have, we get on our ATV vehicles and enter valley interiors that cannot be reached by buses, enabling us to photograph exquisite landscapes. The valleys heavily entered during our ATV tour will be impressive valleys such as Love Valley, Monks Valley.

CLIMATE

Since the surroundings of the region are surrounded by high mountains, the humid temperate air of the seas cannot penetrate the region. For this reason, a continental climate with hot and dry summers and cold and snowy winters prevails in the region. As one goes eastwards in the region, the degree of continentality increases depending on the increase in altitude, and winter temperatures reach very low values. Central Anatolia is the region of our country that receives the least precipitation. Average precipitation is around 400 mm. The region receives the most precipitation in spring months as showers. The driest season is summer. The dryness of summers and early onset of summer dryness have a negative effect on vegetable-type plants. The least rainy place of the region and our country is around Lake Tuz (320 mm). The scarcity of precipitation stems from the region being closed to sea influence. The humid air mass coming from the sea leaves its moisture as precipitation on the slopes of the mountains facing the sea. As it blows towards the Central Anatolia Region, it is now dry.
