Mardin Hasankeyf Diyarbakır Tour by Plane 2 Nights

DİYARBAKIR - SÜLÜKLÜ HAN - ZERZEVAN CASTLE - MARDİN - HISTORICAL STREETS

Our tour starts with our shuttle services picking you up at 03.00 from in front of Beylikdüzü Migros, 03.30 from in front of Yenibosna Airport AVM, 04.00 from in front of Şişli Prontotour Headquarters, and 04.30 from next to Kadıköy Marriage Office Parking Lot, heading to Sabiha Gökçen Airport (Shuttle times may vary depending on flight time changes. For tours with flights, shuttle time information is provided before the tour). Guests arriving at the airport by their own means must be at Sabiha Gökçen Airport no later than 05.00. We complete our boarding procedures for our flight with our ID card or driver's license at the airport. After passing through security, we depart for Diyarbakır with the Ajet HY Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Diyarbakır flight departing at 07.10. Upon arrival in Diyarbakır, we board our vehicle waiting for us and first visit the Diyarbakır Grand Mosque, believed to be one of the oldest mosques in Islamic history and the 5th Harem-i Sharif, located within the city walls. Afterwards, we see and photograph the Ten-Eyed Bridge built over the Tigris River and the Hevsel Gardens. Then, we visit the approximately 130-year-old Cemil Paşa Mansion, which is now opened as a City Museum (Depending on density, the Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı House can also be visited instead of the Cemil Paşa Mansion). After our mansion visit, we drink our fatigue tea at Sülüklü Han. After seeing the Mardin Gate panoramically, we depart for Mardin. On our way, we visit Zerzevan Castle, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List. Zerzevan Castle is one of the best-preserved Roman garrisons in the world with its military settlement, underground and above-ground structures. The places we will see here are; South Tower, Church, Armory, Water Cisterns, Residences, Necropolis Area, and Mithraeum. After our castle visit, we set off for Mardin, the fairy-tale city where stone comes to life. We carry out our tour in Old Mardin on foot. The places we will see during our walk accompanied by our guide are; Latifiye Mosque, Grand Mosque, Revaklı Bazaar, Coppersmiths Bazaar, Şatana Family House, Şehidiye Mosque, Historical Houses, Abbaras, and the Old Government House. After our Mardin tour, we meet with our vehicle and head to our hotel. We depart from our hotel for dinner with our guests who wish (Extra).

HABERLİ SYRIAC VILLAGE - CAVE YEZIDI VILLAGE - KAFRO VILLAGE - DARA ANCIENT CITY - BEYAZ SU RECREATION AREA - MİDYAT

Our tour continues after breakfast at our hotel, heading to Kasımiye Madrasa, where we can see the Mesopotamia Plain from above. After visiting this historical structure, we depart for the Ancient City of Dara, known as the Ephesus of the East. In the Ancient City of Dara, one of the most important settlements of Upper Mesopotamia in history, we see the Water Cisterns, Historical Stone Quarry, and Cemetery. After our ancient city tour, we depart for Beyazsu via Nusaybin. Beyazsu is like an oasis in the arid and treeless geography of Mardin with its cool and clear water, local trees, and greenery. After our tea and coffee by the water (subject to availability), we take a photo break in Kafro village, an old Syriac village known as Pizza Village. Then, after our lunch break in Midyat, we head to the Syriac settlement of Haberli Village (Basibrin). After visiting the open church in this village, which has produced 3 patriarchs, 3 patriarch assistants, and 31 metropolitans, we go to the abandoned Cave Village (Kiwex). After visiting the cemetery and the old settlement in the village, which was once a Yezidi settlement and is now completely abandoned, we leave the village. We check into our hotel in Midyat.

MOR GABRIEL MONASTERY - TELKARI BAZAARS - HASANKEYF - MALABADİ BRIDGE

Our tour continues after breakfast at the hotel, heading to Mor Gabriel Monastery (Deyrulumur), which is at least 400 years older than any monastery founded on Mount Athos in Greece. After our visit to the monastery, one of the nine churches and monasteries in Tur Abdin, which was included in the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List in 2021, we head to historical Midyat, a part of Upper Mesopotamia. We give free time in the bazaars for you to buy souvenirs and jewelry made of telkari, the silver processing art unique to Midyat. At the end of the free time, we head to the shopping point where you can find almond candy, walnut sausage, and Dibek coffee. After our shopping break, we head to Hasankeyf, whose old settlement remained under dam waters. After panoramically seeing the Sultan Süleyman Mosque Minaret, Imam Abdullah Zawiya, and Zeynel Bey Tomb, which were moved here from the old settlement in Hasankeyf, we head to Batman, the land of oil. We head to the Historical Malabadi Bridge, which is also mentioned in songs, via the Batman city center. After photographing the stone arch bridge with the largest arch span that has survived to the present day, we depart for Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport with our Ajet Airlines flight departing from Diyarbakır at 21.05. Upon arrival at the airport, we board our shuttle vehicle waiting for us, drop you off at the points where we picked you up, and sadly bid you farewell to meet on our next trip. Goodbye...
