ISTANBUL - BARI

Meeting with you, our esteemed guests, at Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal at 14:40. After baggage drop, passport, and check-in procedures, departure for Bari at 18:40 with Turkish Airlines flight TK1465. Arrival at Bari Karol Wojtyla Airport at 19:40 local time. After arrival, transfer to our hotel with our private vehicle waiting for us. After check-in procedures, we settle into our rooms. Overnight at our hotel.

BARI – POLIGNANO A MARE – BARI

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Bari city center with our private vehicle. Bari is the administrative center of Puglia, one of Italy's 20 administrative regions, and a historical port city on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. It is one of the largest cities in Southern Italy. On our panoramic tour of Bari, the Old Town (Bari Vecchia), Basilica of San Nicola (11th century), Teatro Petruzzelli, Palazzo della Città, Palazzo della Provincia, and the port street Lungomare di Bari are among the places to be seen. After the tour, we depart for Polignano a Mare. Polignano a Mare is known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic” with its deep blue sea, whitewashed houses, and natural beaches located among the cliffs. It is a charming coastal town with narrow streets and impressive views. It is also the birthplace of Domenico Modugno, famous for the song “Volare”. After our Polignano a Mare trip, we return to our hotel in Bari. Overnight at our hotel.

MONOPOLI – LECCE – BARI

After morning breakfast, we start our full-day tour at the time previously specified by our guide. Our first stop is Monopoli. We take a short walk and spend free time in Monopoli, a typical Southern Italy town with its port, fishing boats, small squares, and colorful houses lined up along the coast. Afterwards, we depart for Lecce. In Lecce, known as the “Florence of the South”, the Basilica of Santa Croce, Piazza Sant’Oronzo, and the amphitheater remaining from the Roman period are among the places to be seen panoramically. After the tour, we return to our hotel in Bari. Overnight at our hotel.

MATERA – ALBEROBELLO – BARI

After morning breakfast, we start our full-day tour at the time previously specified by our guide. Our first stop is Matera. We take a walk in the Sassi region, which is protected by UNESCO with its houses carved into rocks and cave churches. Matera is one of the most impressive historical settlements in Southern Italy. Afterwards, we depart for Alberobello, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. We will take a pleasant walk in this town famous for its traditional conical-roofed stone houses known as Trulli. Trullo Sovrano and the Trulli Museum are among the places to be seen. After the tour, we return to our hotel in Bari. Overnight at our hotel.

BARI – ISTANBUL AIRPORT

After breakfast at the hotel, we vacate our rooms and depart for the airport at the time specified by our guide. After ticket and baggage procedures, departure for Istanbul at 20:35 with Turkish Airlines flight TK1466. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at 23:35 local time and the end of our tour. GENERAL WARNINGS & NOTES

  • Extra tours take place with a minimum participation of 20 people. In case of participation below 20 people, changes in tour prices may occur. Price differences that may arise if there are not enough participants will be communicated by our guide before the tour after the numbers are obtained.
  • Our guide may make changes in the days of the city tour or extra tours depending on the number of participants and the closure status of the museum and archaeological sites, provided that they stick to the content of our tours. This situation also applies to changes that may occur in flight times.
  • Panoramic city tours do not include museum and archaeological site entrances. It is a tour aimed at giving general information about the city.
  • In triple rooms (triple room: dbl bed + extra bed), the 3rd bed is an extra bed or sofa bed and is smaller than standard beds.
  • Triple rooms are provided subject to availability. 3-person room reservations are made based on availability. Triple rooms may appear smaller than other rooms due to the extra bed.
  • Child discounts are valid if accommodation is made in the same room with 2 adults.
  • Check-in times to hotels are determined by international rules and are between 14:00 – 15:00. Check-out times are 10:00.
  • Group reservations are made from hotels for our programs. The content of group breakfasts may differ from the content of individual breakfasts. The content of breakfasts to be taken at hotels in the visited country is not a Turkish breakfast. Group breakfasts are generally served as a continental breakfast in a separate hall. Continental breakfast basically consists of tea or coffee, jam, and croissant, and varies by country.
  • Guests included in the tour without flights may not be able to use airport-hotel-airport transfers if they do not use the same flight as the group, and they may also face the situation of not being able to participate in the city tour. If they use a different flight, transportation to the group's hotel is their own responsibility. This situation must be notified to Prontotur in advance.
  • In general, the luggage weight for flights departing from Turkey is 20 Kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline company and the country to be visited. If there is a domestic flight in the country to be visited, the luggage weight on this domestic flight may drop to 15 Kg. Excess baggage weight/price rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of Prontotur.
  • During the purchase of the tour, the name, date of birth, and passport number on the passport must be reported correctly. Plane tickets are issued according to this information. Cancellation and change penalty fees for tickets resulting from erroneous information will be charged to the guest.
  • Pronto Tour is an intermediary institution between the consulate and our guests in visa acquisitions and does not guarantee any visa acquisition. The consulate's failure to grant a visa or issuing a rejection is not the responsibility of Prontotur.
  • Visa conditions specified in our programs are stated based on Republic of Turkey passports. Guests holding another country's passport can check their visa statuses from the consulates of the countries they are affiliated with.
  • Passports must have a minimum validity period of 6 months based on the end date of travel. Guests traveling with a passport with a validity period of less than 6 months may face the situation of not being admitted to the country by the passport police of the country they are traveling to. In such cases, the responsibility belongs to the passport holder.
  • To use your mobile phones abroad, it is recommended to check with your gsm operator whether your phone is open to abroad before leaving Turkey.
  • Hotels far from the center can be used during special and busy times such as fairs, congresses, and concerts.
  • Some of our programs are offered for sale on the basis of several alternative hotels. Programs with more than one hotel option may have the same guide and transfer vehicle.
  • In our tours with the promotion label, the location and content provided by our hotels may differ according to our standard packages. Cancellation or modification cannot be made by the guest in our promotional tours. Please read the sales contract of the tour you purchased carefully.
  • Guests who want to upgrade plane tickets with their miles can perform upgrade operations after the tickets are issued, depending on the availability of the airline (check the airline where your membership is located).   • Flight times specified in the programs are times reported by the airlines. In our tours organized with special flights, flight times may change up to 48 hours in advance. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT Effective from March 1st, in accordance with the rules of the International Civil Aviation Organization and the European Civil Aviation Conference, restrictions have been introduced on liquids that passengers traveling by airline will be able to carry in their hand and cabin baggage they keep with them inside the plane during their travels. Liquid products purchased from the duty-free shop or during the flight will be placed in a special bag along with their invoice by the attendant, and the mouth of the bag will be sealed. After this bag and the invoice belonging to the product are checked at the security checkpoint, they will be allowed to be taken onto the plane. Each passenger can carry 1 plastic bag and each product inside the bag can be a maximum of 100 ml. If traveling with a transfer at another airport to the final destination, the special duty-free shopping bag given at the store or on the plane must not be opened until the final airport of landing. Otherwise, the contents of the bag may be confiscated at the transfer area. Some liquid substances included in the restriction: *Water, syrup, all kinds of liquids including alcohol, creams, lotions, oils, perfumes, mascara and similar makeup materials, shaving foams, deodorants, all kinds of paste-like substances, foods that are not completely solid such as jam or honey, contact lens liquids, shampoos, and other substances similar to these. Since no liquid restriction is applied in the checked luggage given to check-in, it is recommended to put liquid products into your checked luggage, taking into consideration the restrictions that come into application while preparing your bags. An exception can be applied for passengers traveling with a baby to keep food/milk or for individuals who are obliged to use medication to keep medication in their original packaging in an amount that will be sufficient during the travel, but they may be asked to taste the food or medication or document the illness/medication at the control point.
