DEPARTURE

Our tour begins with our night journey departing from 22.30 Yenibosna Airport Mall Parking Lot - 23.00 in front of Prontotour Şişli Office - 00.00 Kadıköy Tepe Nautilus Mall Side (Ayrılık Çeşme Metro Station İspark Parking Lot).

ILGAZ MOUNTAIN SKI CENTER – SKIING ENJOYMENT – KASTAMONU

Our tour departs from 00.15 Kartal Bridge (E-5 Ankara direction) - 00.45 in front of Gebze Center Mall, heading towards Ilgaz National Park via the Bolu - Gerede route. After approximately 6 hours of driving, we take a break at the place where we will have our breakfast (Extra). Afterwards, we head to the Ilgaz Ski Center. We provide approximately 4 hours of free time at the Ilgaz Ski Center. During this free time, our guests can optionally ski or snowboard, rent snowmobiles, go sightseeing, or take advantage of the hotel facilities. Then, we head to the Kastamonu city center. During our short break in the city center, we see the Nasrullah Mosque, Clock Tower, Kastamonu Castle (Panoramic), and Şerife Bacı Monument. After a break for shopping for çekme helva and Kastamonu pastrami, we head to our hotel located in our Daday district or Safranbolu. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.

SAFRANBOLU – HIDIRLIK HILL - YENICE FORESTS - ZONGULDAK - MINING MUSEUM - GÖKGÖL CAVE

Our tour starts with an early wake-up and breakfast. With our guests who wish, we go to the Crystal Terrace (Glass Observation Terrace) (Extra), which was built on the Tokatlı Canyon, modeled after the glass terrace in the Grand Canyon in America. We find the opportunity to take panoramic photos of the "Tokatlı Canyon" and the İncekaya Aqueduct from the observation terrace, which has a carrying capacity of approximately 400 people. Afterwards, we turn our direction towards Safranbolu. We go up to Hıdırlık Hill, where we can watch Safranbolu from above. After taking beautiful photos, we go to the famous Turkish delight shop of the historical city, where we get information about Turkish delight and also find the opportunity to taste and shop for delicious Turkish delights. Then, accompanied by our guide, we walk to see Arasta, İzzet Paşa Mosque, Blacksmiths Bazaar, Köprülü Mosque, Cinci Inn (Panoramic), and Old Turkish Houses. After free time, we leave the city and go to the Yenice Forests, which is Turkey's largest block forest. Yenice Forests, which is among the world's few forests with its biological diversity and the wildlife it hosts, was designated as one of the 100 Hotspots that need to be protected urgently by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in 1999. The region, which has no settlements inside and has an uninterrupted forest area, is called the forest sea. We pass through the Yenice forests and head to Zonguldak. First, we visit the Gökgöl cave, 875 meters of which is open to tourism. After our cave tour, we visit the 'Mining Museum', which is the first and only mining museum in Turkey, where the conditions regarding the underground production of hard coal are reflected. Here, along with our museum tour, we descend to the old training mine (if open) with our guests who wish. After our museum tour, we give free time in the port area. Then we leave the city and start our return journey. We return to Istanbul via Düzce - Adapazarı. CLIMATE

The Black Sea climate is effective on the Western Black Sea coastline, and this situation loses its effect as one moves to the interior. The Black Sea climate, which is effective on the coastal part, shows some differences compared to other parts of the region. The amount of precipitation in the section is less than the Eastern Black Sea and more than the Central Black Sea. The annual precipitation amount on the coastline is 1200 millimeters. The main reason for this is that the humid air masses coming over the Black Sea rise on the mountain slopes and leave precipitation. The winter season in the section is colder than the Central and Eastern Black Sea sections. Cold air masses coming from Central Europe in winter cause snowfall in the Western Black Sea.
