Van to GAP Flight Tour 5 Nights

Our tour, starts by picking you up at 03.00 in front of Beylikdüzü Migros, at 03.30 in front of Yenibosna Airport AVM, at 04.00 in front of Şişli Prontotour Central Office, and at 04.30 next to Kadıköy Marriage Office Parking Lot, and we depart with our shuttles for Sabiha Gökçen Airport. Guests coming to the airport by their own means must complete their check-in procedures at 05.00 at the latest. We complete our boarding procedures for our flight with our identity card or driver's license at the airport. We depart for Van with Ajet Airlines flight departing at 07.25 from Istanbul to Van. Boarding our vehicle waiting for us, we proceed to our restaurant for a magnificent breakfast (extra). After breakfast, we head towards Gevaş, which resembles a coastal town. With our boat that we will board from Gevaş, we head to Akdamar Island (Extra) located in Lake Van. Akdamar Church, famous for its stonework, and its surroundings on Akdamar Island will be our excursion routes at this point. After pleasant times by the lake, we return to Gevaş. Afterwards, we give a photo break at Maiden's Castle, located on the Edremit side and recently restored. Then we start visiting Van city center. First, we go to the foothills of Van Castle, see the Old Van city and get information from our guide. Afterwards, we go to the Cat House, where we can see Van cats, one of the most important and cutest creatures of the region. After taking nice photos with these cute friends, we reach our workshop where regional silver and filigree works are located. After getting information about Van Savat silver craftsmanship, which gives the most beautiful ornamentation to silver, we go to a Carpet Workshop to get information about Van Carpet. After the shopping break we will give for those who wish, we check in to our hotel in Van.

MURADİYE WATERFALL - AYGIR LAKE - AHLAT – SELJUK CEMETERY – TATVAN - NEMRUT CRATER LAKE

Our tour, after the breakfast we will have at the hotel in the morning, goes to Muradiye district of Van to visit Muradiye Waterfall, which cascades from a height of about 20 meters. After exciting moments on the bridge, we set off for Aygır Lake via Erciş. After a short break around the lake, which dazzles with its natural structure, we reach our Ahlat district via Adilcevaz, which is famous for its walnuts. In Ahlat, we see the Seljuk Cemetery and Tombstones, Grand Tomb, Emir Bayındır Mosque and Tomb, which are unique examples of Turkish art and culture, and after a panoramic tour of Tatvan city center, we depart by minibuses (Extra) to Mount Nemrut, where Turkey's largest crater lake is located. When we reach the summit of Mount Nemrut, on one side the endless magnificent view of Lake Van, and on the other side the fascinating view of Mount Nemrut Crater Lake will deeply impress you. After seeing the Great Crater Lake, Small Lake, Warm Lake and volcanic rocks and lava remnants inside the Mount Nemrut Crater, we descend from Mount Nemrut, enchanted. Then we depart for our hotel in Tatvan. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel.

BİTLİS – SİİRT - TİLLO GLASS TERRACE - BATMAN – HASANKEYF – MİDYAT – SILVER WORKSHOP – MOR GABRIEL MONASTERY

Our tour, after the breakfast we will have at the hotel in the morning, departs for Bitlis city center. After seeing İhlasiye Madrasah (from the outside), Castle, Historical Houses in Bitlis city center, we depart for Siirt city center. After visiting Siirt Grand Mosque (if open) and bazaars, we depart for Tillo. Here we take a photo break by going up to the Glass Terrace where we can see the Botan Valley from above. Afterwards, we head towards Hasankeyf via Batman. After seeing Batman, our province where the first oil well in Turkey is located, panoramisally, we arrive at Hasankeyf, which was submerged by the Ilısu Dam. Here we see Zeynel Bey Tomb, minarets of El Rızk mosque and Süleyman Paşa mosques, Hasankeyf Castle (Panoramic). Then we leave Hasankeyf and depart for Midyat. We spend a good time walking among the Historical Midyat Houses. We give free time in the bazaars for you to buy souvenirs, jewelry, Syriac wines made of telkari, a silver processing art unique to Midyat. You can take nice photos by walking among the Historical Midyat Houses. At the end of the free time, we move to the shopping point where you will find almond candy, walnut sausage, dibek coffee. After our shopping break, meeting with our vehicle, depending on availability, we visit one of the most important centers of the Syriac community in the world and architecturally unique Mor Gabriel or Deyrulumur Monasteries. After the monastery tour, we depart for our hotel. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel.

Our tour, after the breakfast we will have at our hotel in the morning, starts our Mardin tour. First, we see the Old PTT Building, which is an old Armenian Mansion, and Şehidiye Mosque. Then we walk to see the Historical Bazaars and Abbaras, which provide arched passages between the streets. Afterwards, we see the Grand Mosque, which is estimated to be built in the 11th century and famous for its minaret built by an Armenian master. Then we visit Kasımiye Madrasah, built in the 15th century by Akkoyunlu Ruler Sultan Kasım. Do not forget to photograph the Mesopotamia Plain with its magnificent view at this point. After our Historical Mardin tour, we depart for our restaurant where we will have our lunch enriched with local flavors. After our lunch, we visit Göbeklitepe Sacred Area, which is the apple of the eye of world archaeology, where archaeological studies are still ongoing, and which houses the first known temple in the world, via the Historical Silk Road, Kızıltepe - Viranşehir. After our tours, we reach Şanlıurfa, the City of Prophets, the city that comes to mind when raw meatballs, Balıklı Lake, Harran are mentioned. We see Halil-ül Rahman Lake, Balıklı Lake, Ayn Zeliha Lake, Makam Mosque named after Prophet Abraham Station, Rızvaniye Mosque, Mevledi Halil Mosque, the cave where Prophet Abraham was born. We visit Sipahiler, Hüseyinciler, Coppersmiths Bazaar, which are Historical Bazaars. After our tea break at Gümrük Han, which you may remember from the movie Eşkiya, we go to the store where we can buy İsot, Pepper Paste, Pomegranate Molasses, Pistachio. HARRAN – CONICAL DOME HOUSES - MOUNT NEMRUT - HALFETİ

Our tour, after the breakfast we will have at our hotel in the morning, starts our tour with Harran, the most popular district of Şanlıurfa. The points we will visit in Harran are; Harran Mound existing at a height of 22 meters, Harran Grand Mosque, which has the feature of being the oldest mosque established in the Islamic period in Turkey, the First Islamic Madrasah established in Anatolia located in its courtyard (Harran University), Historical Walls and one of the Conical Dome Houses. After the magnificent photo frames we will take here, we leave Harran and reach Kahta. From here, we board our minibuses and set off towards Mount Nemrut (Extra). After a journey of about 1 hour, we reach the foothills of Mount Nemrut. From here, using the stairs, we reach the East Terrace. Seeing the Statues of I. Antiochos, Zeus, Apollon, Herakles, Commagene, Eagle and Lion, and taking a short walk to the West Terrace, we have thoroughly visited Nemrut, which is considered the 8th Wonder of the World. After the west and east terrace, sacrifice altar tours, we set off for Old Halfeti, which is the only place in Turkey where black roses grow and a part of which is submerged under the waters of Birecik Dam lake. In Halfeti, known as the homeland of the black rose, we take a boat tour lasting about 1 hour with guests who wish (Extra) (Evening boat tour can be done depending on road conditions). After our boat tour, we set off for Gaziantep, called the Paris of the Southeast. Dinner and accommodation at our hotel.

GAZİANTEP – GAZİANTEP ZEUGMA MOSAIC MUSEUM - BAZAARS

Our tour, following breakfast at our hotel in the morning, starts with a visit to the Zeugma Mosaic Museum, where mosaics excavated from Zeugma and artifacts belonging to the region are exhibited. After exploring this magnificent museum, we reach Gaziantep Castle (Panoramic), where the famous defense of Antep took place during the War of Independence. From there, we visit the Emine Göğüş Culinary Arts Museum located on our way. After exploring this magnificent museum, we arrive at Bey Mahallesi, one of the oldest neighborhoods of Gaziantep. Here you will witness history as you stroll through the streets housing Antep houses, where you can see the finest examples of old stone and wood craftsmanship. During this journey into the past, to relieve our fatigue, we will visit an old Armenian mansion where we will both photograph the mansion and sip the local menengiç coffee. Afterwards, we head to the historical coppersmiths' bazaar. Guests who wish may purchase these disappearing copper works during the free time given. Then we reach Tahmis Coffee, one of the symbols of Antep, whose history dates back to Sultan Murad IV. After drinking coffee here, guests can shop for tomato paste, dried peppers, spices, Antep pistachios, and baklava during the free time given at Almacılar Bazaar. Afterwards, we meet our vehicle, arrive at Gaziantep Airport, and return to Istanbul with the 21.55 Gaziantep – Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen flight operated by Ajet Airlines. Boarding our transfer vehicles waiting for us in Istanbul, we bid a sad farewell, dropping you off at the points where we picked you up, hoping to meet at another Prontotour organization.

CLIMATE

A continental climate is observed in our Southeastern Anatolia Region. The characteristic of the continental climate is that winters are cold and snowy, and summers are generally hot and dry. In places where the continental climate is observed, winter starts early and the average duration of snow on the ground is 90 days. Summers also start as early as winter and are hot, but since the humidity is low, this heat is not felt much; the temperature difference between night and day and the annual temperature difference is very high.

In addition, if the Nemrut road is closed due to snow on the date the tour takes place, the Nemrut Tour may be canceled without producing any alternative.
