Narcissus Flower and Datça Almond Blossom Festival Tour 2 Nights

These are the most wonderful times of Datça, when almond blossoms meet daisies. To ensure everyone can experience the most wonderful time of Datça, the Almond Blossom Festival will be held again this year.

During the festival, which will take place for 4 days between February 04 – 07, 2027, there will be many events for you to both have a pleasant time and get to know the local culture closely.

Stands will be set up in fairgrounds spread across the Datça peninsula, and local events will be organized. Many activities await you at the festival, from the sale of almond products to local dishes, from natural production workshops to handmade jewelry and gift items produced in Datça, and local dance performances.

DEPARTURE

Our tour begins with our night journey departing from 22.00 Yenibosna Airport AVM Parking Lot - 22.30 in front of Şişli Prontotour Office - 23.30 next to Kadıköy Tepe Nautilus AVM (Ayrılık Çeşme Metro Station İspark Parking Lot) - 23.45 Kartal Bridge (Ankara Direction) - 00.00 in front of Gebze Center AVM.

IZMIR - HISTORICAL ELEVATOR - KARABURUN – MORDOĞAN – BALIKLIOVA - MUĞLA

Our tour picks you up from in front of Bursa Almira Hotel at 02.30 and from in front of Ege University Bornova Junction at 07.30. We head to our restaurant to shake off the morning grogginess and have our extra breakfast. After breakfast, passing through İzmir Konak Square, we panoramically see the Kordon, Clock Tower, and Government House, and reach the Historical Elevator Area, which was built to facilitate transportation between two streets. The street we will use to go up to the Historical Elevator will be Dario Moreno Street, where we can see typical İzmir houses, including the house of the İzmir-born singer Dario Moreno. After a short photo break on this street, we go up to the Historical Elevator where we can watch İzmir from above. At the end of our break, while winter means snow and cold for most of our country, it is known as the "narcissus season" in Karaburun, the hidden paradise of the Aegean. First, we move to Karaburun and observe nature coloring itself with the wonderful appearance and fragrant beauty of narcissus in the middle of winter, and we do our narcissus shopping. After the pleasant moments we spend with the scent of narcissus in Karaburun, we meet at our vehicle at the designated time and point. Then, during a short break we will give in Mordoğan, we visit the Mordoğan Müesser Aktaş Ethnography and History House, which Müesser Aktaş turned into a memorial house years later, where she studied at the Mordoğan Bucağı Primary School, which was built with the efforts of the villagers at the request of Kazım Dirik Pasha, who visited the village in 1928. After visiting the Ayşe Kadın Mosque next to the historical house, we move to Balıklıova, a village established in the southernmost part of the Karaburun Peninsula. During a short break in Balıklıova, you can taste the flour cookies and groom's halva, which are among the popular flavors of the region. Afterwards, we move to our hotel. DATÇA - OLD DATÇA - FESTIVAL AREA

Our tour moves to Datça after the morning breakfast at our hotel. We head to our restaurant to shake off the morning grogginess and have our extra breakfast. After breakfast, we move to Datça, the point where the Mediterranean and the Aegean Sea meet. After seeing the Historical Windmills (Panoramic) in the Kızlan location at the entrance of Datça, we move to Hızırşah Village, which has not lost its cultural values. After visiting the Historical Mosque from the Beyliks Period located at the entrance of the village, we arrive at Old Datça, which is identified with the name Can YÜCEL. While walking among the Stone Buildings in Old Datça, we also see Can YÜCEL's house. After our coffee break at the village coffeehouse, we go to New Datça, where the Almond Blossom Festival is held. After the pleasant time we will spend with various activities, we move to Marmaris. After a short break in Marmaris city center, we move to our hotel.

LOVERS' ROAD - AZMAK BOAT TOUR - AKYAKA - MUĞLA - SABURHANE NEIGHBORHOOD - BELEN COFFEEHOUSE

Our tour reaches Akyaka, which has the title of Cittaslow (Slow City), quiet and full of peace, with its back to lush green mountains and its skirts spread over deep blue waters, after the breakfast taken at our hotel. We take a small motor tour (Extra) in Kadın Azmağı, which is like a natural aquarium flowing into the Gulf of Gökova by filtering through trees and reeds. This protected area will fascinate you with the extraordinary harmony of brown and green, the water temperature not exceeding 8 degrees even in mid-summer, the poetic underwater flora, the fish you will feel like you can catch with your hand, the turtles, and the ducks gliding over it. After a short walk through the streets, we take a photo break on the old Marmaris road surrounded by giant eucalyptus trees, which is one of the places where old Turkish films were shot. Afterwards, we move to Muğla city center. First, we go to Yağcılar Inn, which was an important trade center in the past and where hand-woven carpets are sold today. Then, we take a short flavor break to taste the local tahini halva. After seeing the Clock Tower, we visit Konakaltı Inn. After photographing the two-story inn from the outside, we visit the Menteşe Municipality Culture House, which is a structure that belonged to the Şerefliler Family about 200 years ago. Our last stop in Muğla city center will be the Saburhane Neighborhood, where Turkish and Greek minorities lived together until 1923. The neighborhood is an exemplary Urban Site area with nearly 400 registered houses, nearly 170 civil architectural examples, nearly 100 streets, old inns, fountains, bazaars, squares, and mosques. After walking around and photographing the neighborhood, we move to Belen Coffeehouse in Gevenes Village (Çaybükü), which is the starting point of the Ormancı Folk Song.
