After breakfast on board, our guests who wish can join our extra Aix-En-Provence & Marseille tour organized by the ship. We start our tour with a 10-minute walk from the Marseille port. After a 40-minute drive by bus, we will head to AIX-EN-PROVENCE, one of the most elegant cities in Southern France, which has been a source of inspiration for many writers such as Paul Cezanne and Emile Zola. In this region, famous for its lavender fields, we will tour a city filled with beautiful buildings, flower-adorned balconies, fountains that are each a work of art, and history in every corner. After Aix-En-Provence, we return to Marseille and start our city tour. During the tour, we pass through the old port and visit the Notre Dame De La Garde Basilica, one of the city's most popular historical sites located on a high hill. Palais Longchamp is the second stop of our tour. During our visit to this structure, which serves as the Museum of Fine Arts, we visit its gardens and fountains from the outside and take a photo break. At the end of our tour, we return to our ship. You will also have the opportunity to see the places where some scenes of The Godfather were filmed. Palermo Cathedral, Cappella Palatina, Norman Palace, Fontana Pretoria, Quattro Canti Square, Porta Nuova (City Gate), and colorful markets are among the places we will see. After our tour, we take a break for photos and shopping, and our tour ends. At the end of our tour, we transfer to the ship. Our ship departs from the port at 18:00. Our entire day will be spent cruising at sea. This is a perfect opportunity to enjoy this magnificent ship. You can have your breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the buffet restaurant, which offers a variety of fresh foods prepared by special chefs to suit everyone's taste, or at your reserved seat in the A La Carte restaurant. During the day, in addition to Yoga and fitness classes, you can take advantage of the gym equipped with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment, which includes outdoor tennis, volleyball, and basketball, or bodybuilding equipment. After dinner, if you wish, you can spend time in the ship's colorful and entertaining bars and cafes to listen to live music, attend Broadway-style musical theater shows, or try your luck at the casino.
