GENERAL WARNINGS & NOTES
 

• Optional tours require a minimum participation of 10 people. In case of participation under 20 people, tour prices may be subject to change. If there is insufficient participation, price differences that may arise will be communicated by our guide prior to the tour after numbers are finalized.
• Our guide, adhering to the itinerary of our tours, may change the days of the city tour and/or optional tours according to the number of participants, closure status of museums and archaeological sites. This also applies in case of changes in flight schedules.
• Panoramic city tours do not include entrances to museums and archaeological sites, and are intended to provide general information about the city.
• In triple rooms (3-person room: dbl bed + extra bed), the 3rd bed is an extra bed or sofa bed and is smaller than standard beds.
• Triple rooms (for 3 people) are provided subject to availability. If available, a 3-person room reservation will be made. Triple rooms are smaller due to the extra bed.
• Child discount applies when staying in the same room with 2 adults.
• Check-in time at hotels is generally 14:00 (15:00 in some countries) and check-out time is 10:00 (09:00 in some countries).
• Group reservations are made with hotels for our itineraries. The content of group breakfasts may differ from individual breakfasts. Breakfasts provided at hotels in the visited countries are not Turkish breakfast. Group breakfasts are generally served as continental breakfast in a separate hall. Continental breakfast basically consists of tea or coffee, marmalade, and croissants, varying by country.
• Our guests joining the tour without flight tickets who do not use the same flights as the group will not be able to use airport-hotel-airport transfers and may also be unable to join the city tour. If they use a different flight, transportation to the group's hotel is their own responsibility. This situation must be notified to Prontotour in advance.
• Baggage allowance for flights departing from Turkey is generally 20 kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline company and the destination country. If there are domestic flights in the destination country, the baggage allowance on these domestic flights may drop to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight/pricing rules are determined by the airlines and are not under the responsibility of Prontotour.
• For guests traveling with a Turkish Republic special (green) passport, if the issue date of their passport is older than 10 years, they must renew their passports (extensions are not accepted).
• During registration, the name, date of birth, and passport number as stated in the passport must be entered into the system. Flight tickets are issued according to this information. Penalty charges for flight ticket cancellations or changes resulting from incorrect information will be charged to the guests.
• Prontotour acts as an intermediary institution between our guests and the consulate and does not guarantee any visa approval. The consulate's failure to grant a visa or visa rejection is not the responsibility of Prontotour.
• Visa requirements in our programs are stated on the basis of Republic of Turkey passports. Guests holding passports from other countries can check their visa status with the consulates of their respective countries.
• Passports must have a minimum validity of 6 months starting from the end date of the trip. Guests traveling with less than 6 months validity may face non-entry into the country by passport police. In such cases, the responsibility lies with the passport holder.
• In order to use your mobile phones abroad, it is recommended to check with your GSM operator before leaving Turkey to see if your phone is enabled for international roaming.
• Hotels located away from the city center may be used during special and busy periods such as fairs, congresses, and concerts.
• Some of our programs are offered on the basis of hotels with several alternatives. Programs with multiple hotel options may share the same guide and transfer vehicle.
• In tours marked as promotional, the location of our hotels and the content of the service provided may differ from our standard packages. Cancellations and changes cannot be made by the guest on our promotional tours. Please read the sales agreement of the tour you purchased carefully.
• Guests wishing to upgrade flight tickets with miles can perform upgrade procedures based on the airline's availability (please check the airline of your membership) after tickets are issued. Please check if group tickets for the program are in an upgradeable class. Mile guarantee is not provided for every flight in our programs.
• Flight times stated in the itineraries are times notified by the airlines. On tours arranged with special flights, flight times may change up to 48 hours prior. Prontotour acts as an intermediary between the airline and the guest. Prontotour cannot be held responsible in any way for delays, cancellations, airport and airline changes, overbooking, service disruptions, etc., originating from the airline.
• Travel distances given in the programs are map-based. Travel times may be extended in cases such as traffic, weather conditions, geographical location of the country visited, roadworks, and conditions.
• Food, beverage, and online check-in services on some airlines may be subject to extra charges.
