DEPARTURE

Our tour begins with an overnight journey, departing at 22.00 from Yenibosna Airport AVM Parking Lot - 22.30 in front of the Şişli Pronto Tour Headquarters - 23.30 next to Kadıköy Tepe Nautilus AVM (Ayrılık Çeşme Metro Station İspark Parking Lot) - 23.45 Kartal Bridge (E-5 Ankara direction) - 00.00 in front of Gebze Center AVM.

GÖREME OPEN AIR MUSEUM – ÜRGÜP – ASMALI KONAK - UÇHİSAR CASTLE – MUSTAFAPAŞA – ONYX STONE WORKSHOP

Our tour begins with our guests joining from 00.30 İzmit Halk Evi Stop (from İzmit - Adapazarı direction) - 00.40 İzmit Bus Terminal Stops (opposite ROMATEM) – 01.20 Adapazarı Highway Exit Total Gas Station - 05.30 in front of Ankara Söğütözü Ulusoy Terminal. We head towards the Cappadocia region, which the Persians called the "Land of Beautiful Horses," owing its natural beauty to the 3917 m high Mount Erciyes and 3268 m high Mount Hasan. In the morning, we take a panoramic view of Lake Tuz and have a free breakfast break on the way. After breakfast, we visit the Göreme Open Air Museum in the Göreme Valley. We set aside time to see important places within this magnificent museum, such as the rock churches (Elmalı, Yılanlı, Barbara Churches), the refectory, kitchen, cellar, and the Tokalı Church, where the Bible is depicted from beginning to end. We take a panoramic tour of the Ürgüp city center, visit the wine cellars, and have the opportunity to taste the unique wines of Cappadocia. Then, we visit the Hat-shaped Fairy Chimneys and the Three Beauties Fairy Chimneys, the symbol of Cappadocia. Later, we go to Mustafapaşa, wander through this historical area, and see the finest examples of Greek stone masonry. After a pleasant walk through the mystical streets of Mustafapaşa, we have the opportunity to see and photograph the Uçhisar Castle, the highest point of the region, panoramically. We take a short break at a shop where you can find local pumpkin seeds and other natural products after photographing Pigeon Valley and Uçhisar Castle. Following our shopping break, we get information about the properties and processing of stones at the Onyx Stone Workshop. We head to our hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

PIGEON VALLEY – DEVELİ VALLEY - ÇAVUŞİN – PAŞABAĞ – AVANOS – WALK ALONG THE KIZILIRMAK RIVER - HACI BEKTAŞ-I VELİ

Our tour begins after breakfast at our hotel (Before breakfast, our guests who wish can participate in extra HOT AIR BALLOON TOUR, ATV TOUR, Balloon Take-off Watching Tour activities). Our first stop will be the Leather Workshop and store. After the free time we give here, we take a photo break at Paşabağ (Monks Valley), where we will see the most beautiful examples of multi-headed Fairy Chimneys. After the trip to Develi Valley (Dervent Valley), which contains interesting fairy chimney formations and takes its name from the camel-shaped fairy chimney, we go to Avanos, famous for its pottery. We see the Kızılırmak River in Avanos and get information about the pottery made from the mud of the Kızılırmak. Afterwards, we go to the Hacıbektaş district, where the tomb of Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli, who was born in Khorasan, embraces everyone with his universal views from the 13th century to the present day, and is also the patron saint of the Janissaries, is located. In the Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli Museum, we visit the Balım Sultan Tomb, Güvenç Abdal Tomb, Hacı Bektaş-i Veli Tomb, Kırklar Square, Pir House, Third Courtyard, Cellar House, Square House, Square House Mosque, Soup Kitchen, Second Courtyard (Dervish Lodge Courtyard), and First Courtyard (Nadar Courtyard). We return to our hotel from Hacıbektaş. Dinner and overnight stay are at our hotel. After dinner, we go to the local Turkish Night, which is a must for Cappadocia tours, with our guests who wish. UNDERGROUND CITY - NARLIGÖL – IHLARA VALLEY

Our tour begins after breakfast at our hotel. Our first stop will be the Derinkuyu Underground City (Kaymaklı Underground City or Özkonak Underground City), an engineering marvel where thousands of people fleeing enemy raids could live for months. After some free time at the Narlıgöl Crater Lake, we head to the Ihlara Valley, a natural wonder canyon-valley formed by the Melendiz Stream. Here, we visit the Ağaçaltı and Yılanlı Churches (In case of road work, the Ihlara Valley tour will be conducted from the Belisırma Village or Selime side). After a pleasant walk, we set off towards Istanbul. Traveling along the Ankara - Bolu route, we drop you off at the points where we picked you up in the evening, hoping to see you again on other Prontotour trips. Goodbye.

TURKISH NIGHT

In the entertainment held in authentic venues carved into the rock, unique to the Cappadocia region, folk dances from every region of our country are performed, and a belly dancer takes the stage. During the night, which also includes various musical performances, animations, and entertainment, unlimited local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and suitable appetizers are served.

BALLOON TOUR

Our tour, which will last between 60 – 75 minutes depending on weather and seasonal conditions, ends with our transfer to your hotel. Around 5 o'clock in the morning, our vehicles pick you up, our valued guests, from your hotel and bring you to the take-off area. While the balloons are being prepared for flight on the ground, our guests have a light open buffet breakfast. After a short preparation, the balloons start to fly near sunrise. The flight lasts approximately 1 hour. During the flight, our balloon rises to an altitude of approximately 1000 feet, giving our guests the opportunity to watch the sunrise. It also offers the opportunity to enter the valleys to watch the fairy chimneys and valley views, take photos, and record videos. At the end of the flight, a champagne celebration is held for our guests. In addition, a flight certificate will be given as a souvenir of the flight. The entire balloon flight adventure lasts approximately 3 hours, and our guests will be dropped off at their hotels or the excursion point around 8 o'clock in the morning.

ATV TOUR

Our tour, which will last between 45 - 60 minutes depending on weather and seasonal conditions, ends with our transfer to our hotel. Around 5 o'clock in the morning, our vehicles pick you up, our valued guests, from your hotel and bring you to the take-off area. After a light breakfast here, we board our ATV vehicles to enter the valleys that cannot be reached by buses and to photograph the exquisite views. The valleys that are heavily entered during our ATV tour will be impressive valleys such as Love Valley and Monks Valley.

CLIMATE

Since the region is surrounded by high mountains, the humid and mild air of the seas cannot penetrate the region. For this reason, a continental climate prevails in the region, with hot and dry summers and cold and snowy winters. In the region, as one moves towards the east, the degree of continentality increases due to the increase in altitude, and winter temperatures reach very low values. Central Anatolia is the region of our country that receives the least rainfall. The average rainfall is around 400 mm. The region receives the most rainfall in the spring months in the form of showers. The driest season is summer. The fact that summers are dry and the summer drought starts early has a negative effect on vegetable-type plants. The least rainy place in the region and our country is the surroundings of Lake Tuz (320 mm). The lack of rainfall is due to the region being closed to the influence of the sea. The humid air mass coming from the sea leaves its moisture as precipitation on the slopes of the mountains facing the sea. By the time it blows towards the Central Anatolia Region, it is already dry.
