ISTANBUL – TOKYO

We meet with our guide at Istanbul Airport at 12:00, 4 hours before our flight, and carry out our passport and luggage procedures. After the procedures, we depart at 15:50 with Turkish Airlines flight TK174.

TOKYO

After arriving in Tokyo at 09:05 local time, we start our full-day city tour with our private vehicle. Our first stop is the Shibuya "Scramble Crossing", one of the most iconic points of the city. At this famous intersection, when the traffic lights turn green simultaneously, pedestrians coming from all four sides cross the street at the same time, creating a flood of people. The Hachiko Statue, located at one corner of the intersection, was built in honor of the famous Akita dog that became one of the symbols of Japan with its loyalty. After seeing the Hachiko Statue, we reach the Asakusa district, one of the oldest residential areas of Tokyo, and visit the Sensoji Temple, which is considered the most important religious structure of the city. On the Nakamise shopping street on the way to the temple, you can find many options from traditional Japanese products to souvenirs. Later in the day, we move to the Ginza district, which reflects the modern face of Tokyo and hosts luxury stores, and after a short free time here, we move to our hotel. Accommodation at our hotel in Tokyo.

TOKYO

Free time after breakfast. Our guests who wish can participate in the extra Mt. Fuji & Boat & Oshino Hakkai & Gotemba Premium Outlet tour (180 USD). We set off towards the foothills of Mt. Fuji with our departure from the hotel.
First, we participate in a boat trip on Lake Kawaguchi, famous for its nature views. Then, we visit the Oshino Hakkai village, which reflects traditional Japanese village life and has a view of Fuji. Later, we give free time at Gotemba Premium Outlet, one of Japan's largest shopping centers. Our guests can enjoy shopping with discount coupons. Return to our hotel and rest at the end of the tour.

TOKYO - MATSUMOTO

After breakfast, we set off for Matsumoto, which still bears the traces of the Samurai heritage. Our first stop will be Matsumoto Castle, one of the five castles registered as a National Treasure in Japan and also considered one of the most beautiful heritage sites in the country. Then, we will take a walk on Nakamachi-dori, which is within walking distance of the castle and attracts attention with its beautifully preserved old buildings. This traditional street was where the city's merchants lived during the Edo Period and still reflects this historical atmosphere today. Some buildings house small shops, restaurants, and ryokans. Later, we cross to the street known as "Frog Street", which runs parallel along the river opposite Nakamachi. While exploring this traditional street with countless frog statues and a unique atmosphere, we will enjoy the view by stopping at various bridges over the river and have the opportunity to shop at local stores. After the trip, we move to the hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

MATSUMOTO – SHIRAKAWAGO – KANAZAWA

After breakfast, we set off for the traditional Japanese Village Shirakawago. This is one of the few villages where original Japanese village houses called minka can still be seen and is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. These unique structures are known for their sloping roofs covered with layered roofs like praying hands. We will witness how the characteristic roofs and architecture of the minka houses preserve the history and culture of the region. Then we will move to Kanazawa, where three-quarters of the population consisted of samurai class families in the 17th century. After arrival, we visit Kenrokuen Garden, the most important symbol of the city. Kenrokuen, one of Japan's Three Great Gardens, has been designed to be beautiful in every season according to the six "sublimity" principles in Chinese landscape garden design. After the trip, we move to the hotel.

KANAZAWA – OSAKA

After breakfast, we visit Kanazawa's famous samurai district Nagamachi and the Nomura Samurai House, one of the most important mansions in this area. This house has been home to several generations of the Nomura samurai family. While exploring the house, you can feel the simple elegance the family lived in, see the armor and weapons left by their ancestors, and also admire the beautiful view in the huge backyard. After discovering the hidden treasures of Japan that are not well known, we set off for Osaka, the second-largest metropolis of Japan after Tokyo.

OSAKA

Free time after breakfast. Our guests who wish can participate in the extra full-day Kyoto tour (180 USD). We start our full-day tour in Kyoto, a museum city that served as the capital of Japanese emperors for nearly a thousand years and, unlike Tokyo, preserved its original texture because it was not destroyed in the war. We start the tour by visiting the Kinkakuji Zen Temple, also known as the "golden temple" on the UNESCO Heritage List, which is one of the symbols of the city, and the Kiyomizu-dera Temple, which is also included in the World Heritage List and is famous for its large wooden terrace. Then, we visit the Fushimi Inari Temple, which contains about a thousand torii (Shinto gates). At the end of the day, we take a walk in the Gion Geisha District to get to know the traditional face of Kyoto closely; while walking on the narrow stone streets, you may also have the chance to see a Geisha or Maiko in their traditional clothes. After the trip, transfer to our hotel in Osaka and accommodation.

OSAKA

Free time after breakfast. Our guests who wish can participate in the extra Nara & Todaiji Temple & Umeda shopping tour (140 USD). In Nara, the first capital of Japan and the country's most ancient city with a 1300-year history, we visit the Todaiji Temple, which is on the UNESCO Heritage List with its giant Buddha statue. Afterwards, we visit Nara Deer Park. Nara Park was established in the 13th century AD and is one of the oldest parks in Japan. It is famous for the Sika deer that roam the park and were previously considered sacred. Those who wish can feed the deer here. After the trip, we return to Osaka and you will have free time for shopping. We return to our hotel for accommodation.
